Superman Empire
This issue was released July 2006. This issues main focus is about Superman Returns.
Having superman the iconic character in his outfit flying from the earth gives the audience an instant recognition about what this magazines going to include in its main story.
Having the superman image gives no need to have an actual title of superman. However they use a sub title of out of this world! superman returns. This gives people who don't know who this character is a name to a face.
Having at the top 3D edition gives people a reason to buy it alone. This is because of having 3D a new technology in this day and age of 2010 but having it in 2006 gives a real main interest to the magazine which makes it more exciting to have and read.
The main colours of red and yellow of the superman logo are a pattern in the whole of the cover. This gives the magazine a key following to it. This makes everything come together even though they are about different stories.
Having Superman's fist covering the Empire title gives a sense of it coming out the page making it look more exciting and different to other magazine.
