The crazies poster is a typical horror film. You can tell this by having generic conventions. These are firstly colour. Colour is represented by having a dark grey sky showing misery. The red writing resembles blood which also resembles death. The writing of the title at the bottom is also in red which is the same as above.
The bullet holes on the sign show a gun which is a dangerous weapon again showing death.
The irony is that the writing behind the help us states that its the friendliest place on earth.
Another factor is that the sign is all on its own and that town is so far away. This shows how the town seems secluded.
