Alice in worderland analysis
Alice in worderland is a 2010 fantasy adventure film directed by Tim Burton. The film technique is use of live action and annimantion.
This poster shown is very busy meaning that there are a lot of things going on so there is a lot to look at. Having alice in a striking blue dress makes you draw immediatly to her. Having her in the centre makes her the main focus of the image. People around her are shown diffrently for example the twins (tweddle dee and tweedle dum) are ownly shown half of there bodies. but together they make a whole person. This could mean that together they make a whole. This could also mean that they are not the brightest of people. The look on there faces (confusion) also gives this away. The red queen is shown on the right, her dress is dark, her makeup is vibrant and is shown very small against others. This represents her evil character being red (blood and death) and her being smaller represents her power.
The white queen shown at the bottom shows her innocence, gentleness and kindness by wearing white. Her being at the bottom though could mean that she is not an importnant character.
The background of the image is dark representing an evil place but the front of it is shown as a nice place by having bright vibrant colours.
The font at the bottom where it says alice in wonderland shows a fading around the ages making it look like its moving. This represents speed. This could mean that the film is jampacked full of adventure. Having the directors name above shows that importance of him. This means that the audience will know who he is and want to go see it because he is the creator of the film.
