Audience Feedback - Evaluation

We have finally completed our teaser trailer, Welcome To The Neighbourhood. After many weeks of planning, research, filming and editing we are delighted with our final product. To find out peoples reaction to our trailer we asked a couple of classmates their reactions and views to what they saw.

What did you enjoy the most in the trailer?

The way in which the music helped build tension and the use of titles. By using a effective titles it helped the narrative and tell the story better. Also the last shot was very good!

Are there any trailers similar to ours?

It was the right length for a teaser trailer so that was good. It seemed similar to the Strangers idea with a couple in a house being terrorized?

Did it make you want to see more?

Yes because I wanted to see what was wrong with this neighbourhood and why they were terrorizing this couple.

Finally any improvements we could have made?

Maybe could of used more sound effects and a more varied location. Apart from that i loved it!

Classmate 2

What did you enjoy the most in the trailer?

A few of the shots were really good and made it look like a proper horror trailer. Also the effects used on the title of the film looked superb.

Are there any trailers similar to ours?

There are aspects of many different trailers in yours. Trailers like the Strangers and 1408 are similar to this.

Did it make you want to see more?

The enigma used was really good as it makes me want to see how the person in the hood is going to terrorize the couple.

Finally any improvements we could have made?

Not much, but if I had to say anything then it would have to be maybe a more varied actors and actresses.
