Equipment used - Evaluation

To help us complete our trailer and ancillary tasks we used a range of equipment and resources. Without these pieces of equipment we would not have been able to achieve everything we have done over the course.

Camera
This was absolutely key in making our trailer. Without the camera we would never have been able to film any footage. The positives of using an SD camera was that we could use any tape in it and film on it. If we forgot our tape we could always borrow another one if needed which was a great help on different occasions. The downside to using an SD camera was that it was sometimes hard to connect them to the computer and increased the length of our editing time.

Tripod
When filming our trailer we used a tripod as much as possible. One of the problems with last years film was that some of the shots we filmed were shaky and looked very unprofessional. So to rectify this problem we used a tripod with every shot to make sure that our trailer was more tidy and more authentic.

Microphones
Again, last year we let ourselves down by not using a microphone in scenes which we should of done. So throughout the filming of the trailer we used a microphone to help gain the best sound quality we could get.
