Our group has been set a task to make to short films one portraying the positives of our school and the other showing the negatives.
Our group spent the first hour of lessons thinking of what each short film could contain these are our first original ideas.
Positive;
-well behaved kids
-Light colours
-low angle shots
-show new buildings and positive views of school
-light music
-Positive interviews
-Portray teachers as pleasant and positive
-Happy students enjoying themselves
-Inviting happy voice over
-interviews and observations of students and teachers
Negative;
-observe teachers shouting at class
-blur out faces to seem less accessible
-Show scaffolding and ramshackle huts
-Cloudy rainy weather
-unhappy students
-Intimidating voice over
-Poor camera work (say that camera work was done by school cameras and have shaking)
-Slow editing fade to black used heavily
-show vandalism and graffiti
-High angle shots
-show areas of rubbish
-get teachers opinion on what school needs
This was a list of ideas our group came up with and any changes or additions will be posted later
